Play is central to how children learn: the way they form and explore friendships; the way they shape and test hypotheses; the way they make sense of their world. Creativity is rarely taught in a traditional classroom setting. Children learn how to behave in social situations as they engage in sports among other activities. Using beautiful markings on the playground can help them develop crucial life skills such as collaboration, critical thinking, empathy, communication, and respect. We recently had the opportunity to work closely with the team at Uki Public School, NSW and transform their plain playground space into a bright, engaging and learning space.
